Deakin SeaED

We are so fortunate to have ongoing mentoring and support from the team at Deakin SEA.Ed, a research group established to address Australia’s need to foster an ocean literate society. Their research focuses on sustainable management of our ocean resources. Research at Deakin SEA.Ed seeks to work towards a national ocean literacy strategy, aligned with the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development Committee’s global goals to create an ocean literate society for all.

Sonnet

A creative house located on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Sonnet Studios has been instrumental in creating unique and impactful experiences for our Ocean Thinkers. We have been weaving magic with the Sonnet team since day dot. They are not only our creative team, they fly the Ocean Thinker flag high, upholding a true community spirit in supporting the initiative for kids of Australia.

MO

Mo is a visual artist renowned for her collage work.


MO has exhibited in a number of solo and group shows in Melbourne and London. Her practice has proved very versatile in a range of applications from one-off works on paper to limited edition clothing, shop windows and
installations.

We have been lucky enough to use three of MOs artworks on our website and are excited to continue collaborating in 2025!

Bri Horne

​Bri Horne (she/her) is an intuition and purpose-lead emerging photographic artist based on Boon Wurrung and Bunurong Country on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. 

Grounded in the embodiment of deep sensitivity and empathy, Bri explores the connection between self and the natural world — guided by the knowing that as humans, we are not separate to nature, we are nature.

We couldn't have asked for a better fit for our first photoshoot!
