Ocean Thinkers began with a simple idea: children are naturally curious, but the world doesn't always give them enough opportunities to follow that curiosity.
The ocean is one of the greatest subjects imaginable. It is vast, complex, surprising and connected to almost everything we experience. Yet for many children, it remains something they see in a book or on a holiday rather than something they understand.
We want to change that.
Ocean Thinkers creates beautifully designed products, stories and experiences that invite children to look closer, ask questions and think differently. Our Ocean Literacy Program provides the foundation, introducing children to the seven principles that help us understand how the ocean works and why it matters.
But Ocean Thinkers isn't about turning children into marine scientists. It's about giving them a richer view of the world.
We bring together science, creativity, culture, design and exploration to create experiences that feel relevant to Australian children.
We collaborate with people and organisations who share our belief in curious, capable children, including scientists, artists, designers, educators, storytellers, First Nations knowledge holders and purpose-led brands.
